Spicy Beef Bowl
INGREDIENTS
SPICED BEEF MARINADE:
¼ cup oilÂ
2 Tbsp cajun seasoningÂ
500g beef strips or beef sirloin, cubed or slicedÂ
2 tsp cooking oil
2 Tbsp TOP CLASS Grill Flavoured Spice BowlÂ
SPICY SAUCE:
2 Tbsp Greek yoghurt or sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 lime or lemon, juicedÂ
1 Tbsp sugar
Salt to tasteÂ
SPICY BOWL:
1 cup cooked riceÂ
1 cup green pepper, diced
METHOD
SPICY SAUCE:Â
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth (you can blend these together - optional).
Taste the sauce and season with salt to taste.Â
Use the sauce right away or cover and refrigerate.Â
SPICED BEEF:
Pour the olive oil, cajun spice and TOP CLASS Grill Flavoured Spice Bowl spice altogether and mix until smooth.Â
Thinly slice the beef or beef strips and combine it with the marinade. Cover it and put into the fridge for 1 or 2 hours.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cooking oil and the beef and brown on both sides, then remove the meat from the pan and set aside.Â
SPICY BOWL:Â
Divide the rice among two bowls.Â
Add the lettuce, peppers and beef into the bowl. Top the bowl with the sauce and serve.Â
You can substitute the beef with chicken, pork or tofu and keep the recipe as is!
